
James G. McLeish, B.S. M.S.
James G. McLeish has 30 years of automotive Electrical/Electronics (E/E) experience. He has worked in systems engineering, design, development, production, validation, reliability and quality assurance of both components and vehicle systems. He holds a B.S. and a M.S. in Electronics Engineering with a Mechanical Engineering minor. He hold three patents, is the author or co-author of 3 GM E/E validation and test standards and is credited with the introduction of Physic of Failure engineering techniques to GM. Mr. McLeish has held various management and technical leadership positions in automotive product engineering and product assurance that includes: E/E Engineering Manager at GM Military Vehicles, Electrical Reliability Manager for Chevrolet-Pontiac Engineering, a technical specialist/team leader in quality and warranty problem solving and QRD Strategists for Global Electrical, Software and Controls.
