MR. LARRY EDSON

Larry Edson has 40 years of experience in the fields of quality and reliability working for a wide range of companies spanning the fields of automotive, medical, agriculture, door & window, military, aviation, solar cell, fuel cell, CERN (particle physics exploration), and wind power generation. Following a rewarding career and retirement from General Motors, he started his own consulting company in 2007. Larry's educational background includes a BSME from Kettering Institute, certification as a Quality Engineer through ASQ, and graduate work in reliability engineering through the University of Maryland, and the Illinois Institute of Technology. His early career experience as a quality engineer included personal inter-action with Dr. W. Edwards Deming in the 1970's, and has evolved into developing test methods for Danish wind turbines in 2008. Larry is the "inventor" of the Calibrated Accelerated Life Testing method (CALT) as well as the CALT-MEOST method.
