HALT & HASS AND CLASSICAL RELIABILITY METHODS INTEGRATED

by Mr. Chet Haibel, M.S.E.E.

This integrated seminar is for In-House presentations only. The content is time-compressed into 3 days for a reduced cost per attendee. Please call to obtain a customized estimate tailored to your company's requirements. This information is normally presented in two separate 2-day seminars.

This seminar combines the latest accelerated reliability development tools and the classical reliability tools into one cohesive group, enhancing the reliability and reducing the cost of the products produced using the methods. Prior to this new seminar, there was no one location to gain all of this knowledge. Both instructors are eminently qualified in their fields and together they bring synergism to the reliability arena. It is available immediately for in-house presentation anywhere in the US and Europe.

Previous attendees of either the 2-day "R3/4. HALT and HASS + Workshop" or "R1. Introduction to Reliability & Weibull Analysis" seminars are given a significant discount on this new course.

Why Should My Company Develop a Basic Understanding of Reliability?
by Chet Haibel, M.S., CRE, CQE
When a company wants to move to the next level in reliability, for example when the Reliability Engineers want to institute HALT, Cycle Testing, Failure Analysis, Design for Reliability Guidelines, HASS, and such, they need the support of New Product Development engineers, project managers, supplier managers, material engineers, etc. After all, these are the folk who fear their schedule and budget may be adversely impacted. They need to understand that properly applied reliability techniques shorten schedules and save money. Everyone must be rowing the boat in the same direction. This starts with a common understanding of terms: the three kinds of failures, how each is caused, and therefore how each is discovered, corrected, and prevented. The role of stress in reliability is another key concept everyone in the company should understand.
